The Salvation Army operates a total of three Thrift Stores in the beautiful city of Nanaimo, where good quality used products are sold at very affordable prices. Funds generated through the Thrift Stores enable The Salvation Army to provide assistance to our community through many community-minded support programs.
Serving over 75,000 fabulous meals per year, sending kids to camp, serving Senior’s dinner’s at Christmas, supplying food hampers, clothing and furniture vouchers, offering drug and alcohol treatment, free tax returns, shelter, transitional and half-way housing. All this is offered in Nanaimo and supported financially by our Nanaimo Thrift Stores.
So whether you are a regular Thrift Store treasure hunter, follow our Antiques and Collectibles Auctions, or you just wander in once in a while….every time you shop in our stores, your dollars go to something great!
We also have ‘Metal for Meals’ – a free metal drop off, and free pick up of your old junk vehicle.
