The Wet & Wild tour is great for explorers aged 8 and up! This thrilling trip highlights the incredible natural forces that created these marble passages and crystal caverns.  See an underground river, climb a waterfall, marvel at the amazing crystals and squeeze through the ceiling galleries on this fabulous adventure; a small taste of ``wild`` caving!  Participants will negotiate some tight passages, short climbs and lots of cave scrambling. 

Frequently asked questions about caving:

How difficult is it?  On the Wet & Wild tour, there is a moderately strenuous uphill trail (20 minutes) to get to the cave.  Inside the cave, there aren`t any sidewalks or railings, just a rocky trail.  You will be stepping off rocks up to 1 metre (3 ft) in size.  

I have never been caving before and I am nervous about small, enclosed spaces.  Should I go on the cave tour?  There isn`t any crawling involved on the Wet and Wild tour.  If you feel uncomfortable in the cave, one of our guides will lead you out.  On the Wet & Wild tour you are never more than 5 minutes away from an exit.

**Don`t forget to bring your camera!  Make sure to bring warm/layered clothing and sturdy footwear (Rubbher boots are recommended for winter trips) as winter & spring trips can be very wet. **

Great adventure at Horne Lake Caves! My husband and I booked a 4 hour high adventure tour going deep into the Horne Lake Caves....it was a wonderful experience. Our tour guide was Dave he was very funny, had a wealth of knowledge and took really good care of us too. I am not in the best of shape and this tour was challenging but not that bad.
