Fired Up! That wasn’t an excited statement, but the name of one of the best places in Victoria for ceramic painting! Fired Up provides a laid-back, relaxing atmosphere for you to create personalized masterpieces, as gifts or to enjoy yourself. First-timers and accomplished artists alike are encouraged to come in and learn about new techniques, mediums, and share ideas. Of course, their staff are also there to assist you with your creation every step of the way.

What starts with an unfinished ceramic piece almost always winds up as a mantle-worthy masterpiece! This bisque can be anything from a bowl, cup, or pot to a small figurine, ornament, or piggy bank. Patrons can paint any design they can imagine on their masterpiece using over 50 glaze colors, as well as stamps and stencils. Next, the experts at Fired Up dip the creation into a clear glaze finish, and fire the piece in a kiln so it is usable. There is no raw clay (a.k.a. greenware) involved.

No experience is necessary, and the best part is it's all food-safe, washable, and non-toxic! With a welcome hand extended to all people of all ages and with a willingness to organize events like birthday parties, the spot to head to for some new, different, unconventional fun and art is here.
